Description

Nanolex Si3D Matte is a special coating for matte paints, wraps, dips and other matte surfaces. The Nanolex Si3D Matte is the matte version of the Nanolex Si3D. Thus, it is also designed to create an extremely long-lasting chemical bond with the matte surface and provide molecular protection without glare. The treated surfaces will stay clean longer and will also be easier to wash.

Nanolex Si3D Matte provides strong durable protection for all delicate matte surfaces, leaving a natural matte appearance. The surfaces to be treated must be properly prepared with Nanolex EX. With proper maintenance, Nanolex Si3D Matte has a durability of approximately 25.000 km on the treated surfaces. This may be less on surfaces that are under great stress, such as rims.

  1. First remove all scratches from the surface to be treated, once the coating is on the car, it will only be removable by heavy polishing or sanding.
  2. Degrease the surface with a degreaser such as Nanolex EX and 2 microfibre cloths.
  3. Make sure the surface is completely dry and protected.
  4. Apply a few drops to the applicator and apply to the surface in small sections of about 30x30cm, working in cross patterns.
  5. Keep rubbing and make sure there are no darker spots or small hills on the paint, if these dry and harden you will have to sand.
  6. When the coating becomes transparent and appears to have dried, wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth.
  7. Immediately apply another layer if you want to apply two layers, if not, work the same way throughout the panel in the same way. If you wait too long to finish your panel, after 20 minutes the first coat will repel your next 30x30cm section and it will not adhere properly. When you start on a panel you must finish it immediately. If you do not want to treat certain panels, tape off the parts that you can get over with your applicator.
  8. Let it dry for 24 hours before driving back. During these 24 hours, keep the coating free from liquids, etc. Higher temperatures such as putting your car in the sun or an infrared lamp will speed up the drying process.
  9. After 78 hours, the coating has fully cured and is resistant to chemicals up to pH 2 and you can wash your car again. However, we recommend that you wait a week if possible.
