An odor eliminator can make a world of difference when you suffer from bad odors in your car. They are specifically made to cling to and neutralize odors. However, it only has a limited area in which it is effective. An odor remover is specifically made to remove annoying odors that have lingered in the interior. It cannot stop any dirt still present in the interior from smelling. The causes must first be removed before an odor remover can work.
If you have a dirty interior that smells, for example you have spilled milk and it has soaked into the carpet, you cannot permanently remove the odors with an odor remover. You must first clean the carpet with a car upholstery cleaner for example, and when the cause in this case is the milk removed from the carpet, you can use an odor remover to remove the bad odors that can still hang in the interior. The same with foul odors from the air conditioning or ventilation system. These are odors that come from bacteria and dirt in the air conditioning system and the ventilation ducts. You can only remove this with a air conditioner cleaner. There are also odor removers that are both an air conditioner cleaner and an air conditioner cleaner. Although they are more do it yourself air conditioning cleaners, they can still provide a good result if you have to deal with bad odors from the air conditioning.
These do it yourself air conditioning cleaners are small spray cans that you simply have to put in your car. You don't have to scrub or anything like that. All you have to do is turn on the car and the air conditioning. Then set it to the highest setting and ensure that the air from the interior is recycled. Also make sure that all windows and doors are in good condition. Then you put the spray can on a microfibre cloth on the center console and press the spray can. The aerosol will now automatically continue to spray until it is empty. Let the product circulate for about 5 minutes and then open all windows to allow the car to ventilate. Because the product will float around in the ventilation ducts and the entire interior, you can clean both the air conditioning and the bad odors in the interior.
So an odor remover works completely differently than a air freshener. An air freshener simply provides a pleasant smell temporarily. But the foul smell also remains, it is simply less noticeable because the pleasant smell temporarily predominates. But as soon as the pleasant smell of the air freshener is gone, the bad smell returns. An odor remover is therefore specifically intended to remove bad odors as long as the causes have been removed first.
