Spray Wax & Quick Detailer
12 products
A spray wax and/or a quick detailer spray are always handy products to have on hand. They contain a small concentration of cleaning properties but mainly offer a small amount of protection along with sliding properties. They are both used for different purposes. You can use them when you want to quickly apply a protective layer. When you have some dust on your car and want to remove it with a microfibre cloth† Or if you've washed your car and want to dry the car quickly without leaving streaks or water spots. When you want to give your paint some extra shine. And finally, they are also sometimes used as clay lubricant.
Because a spray wax and a quick detailer glide so well, they are perfect for removing small dirt and dust from your car without scratching. Many people think that strong chemicals are the most important when you want to remove dirt. This is when you are not going to touch your car. A microfiber cloth or wash glove is always stronger and more aggressive for ordinary dirt than chemicals. There is a chance that scratches will be made because you naturally touch the paint. That is why you need products that contain very good lubricant.
The more slippery the product is, the less likely it is to scratch it. That is why a spray wax or quick detailer is used to remove small dirt and dust without washing your car. A traditional car shampoo always has more lubricant than a spray wax. But then of course you have to fill the whole car with water and buckets washing and the like. With a spray wax or quick detailer you can quickly clean your car by simply going over the car with a microfibre cloth. This is often used in dealer showrooms, at car shows and meetings, trade shows, TV shows, and so on.
The sliding properties in the spray wax and quick detailer are enough to prevent scratches from light dirt and to allow clay to slide over the surface. And the cleaning properties are enough to loosen small dirt. Finally, we have the protective factor of the spray wax and the quick detailer. These sprays are of course not as durable as a wax or as a spray coating and certainly not as durable as a real one coating† But it can provide extra shine and water and dirt repellent properties for 1 to 3 weeks. Sometimes this is long enough to bridge the period between washes. Because of the water and dirt-repellent properties, your car will not only stay clean for longer, but it will also be easier to clean.
Because a spray wax & quick detailer are so easy and forgiving, they are often used as a drying aid. When you wash your car on a hot day, especially in the sun, you will notice that the water dries very quickly. When the water dries, the minerals in the tap water can start to burn into the paint. We call this water stains. You can remove it with water stain removers but even better, this can be prevented with a drying aid such as a spray wax or quick detailer. They contain water-repellent properties and protection in the form of wax, ceramic and/or graphene components. This allows you to do a few sprays on the wet surface and then wipe with a microfibre cloth or drying towel† It will begin to repel the water making drying easier and avoiding streaks or water spots. In addition, it also provides a protective layer that can last for several weeks, possibly even until the next wash.
A spray wax and quick detailer therefore has many different applications. This makes it a product that always comes in handy and can also avoid problems. We can therefore only recommend that you always have a bottle of spray wax or quick detailer close at hand.
