All Scholl polishing pads are produced in Germany from high-quality European foam in combination with a high-quality adhesive layer and velcro backing. They have been specifically developed for the modern, hard paint type, but can also be used perfectly on soft or older paint types. Each pad undergoes a manual quality check.
De Scholl Concepts Black SOFTouch Finishing Pad uses their innovative SOFTouch sandwich-like construction to use a super soft pad without the risk of damaging the paintwork from the too soft foam. Soft foam collapses under the weight of the machine and the pressure of the user, causing damage. SCHOLL responds to this by adding a thin layer of harder foam between the velcro backing and the soft top layer.
In this way, a hybrid path is created that can achieve a sublime finish without any risk. De Scholl Concepts Orange Polishing Pad is a firm but fine polishing pad that creates the maximum shine. It is the ideal pad for slightly weathered paint or light scratches (swirls). It removes marring (superficial matte streaks) and light wax scratches to finish with a deep high gloss. This pad uses a recessed velcro side that ensures safe and comfortable work, even in hard-to-reach locations such as bumpers or spoilers. The razor-sharp velcro layer poses no risk.

De Scholl SOFTouch Topwool pad (135mm) consists of an innovative sandwich-like construction that combines the benefits of natural wool with a foam pad. This is achieved by adding a layer between the wool surface and the velcro backing. This combination results in great flexibility and easy control and distribution of the pressure. This hybrid pad offers high corrective power like the traditionally beloved lambswool pads with the polishing comfort of a soft foam pad.
The SOFTouch pads are ideal for professional detailers and any other rotary user. Pads with such a high correction force are necessary to perform a heavy correction on hard or medium-hard paint. The natural fibers remove deep scratches and scuff marks faster than traditional pads with heavy correction, and the volume of a sheep wool pad allows better air circulation, keeping the surface cooler during polishing. The chance of overheating or burnt paint is therefore further reduced with a wool pad!
With rotary polishing, it is established that wool pads have up to 30% more correction power than traditional polyurethane (PU) foam. An additional advantage of natural fibers is the strong cooling and heat absorbing property of a wool pad. Despite these great advantages, there are still many detailers who prefer to avoid wool pads. The main reason for this is the comfort of a PU pad on wavy panels. Based on these facts, SCHOLL chooses to provide the wool pad with a thin layer of foam on which the wool layer and velcro backing is attached. De Scholl Concepts White Spider Cutting Path is a structured path that can remove large defects very quickly. It combines an innovative sandwich technology giving you an aggressive foam in the front for polishing and a strong and firm back for support. The Spider pads are specially made for use with a Dual Action polisher.
De Scholl Concepts Navy Blue Spider Polishing Pad is a medium polishing/compounding pad. It is the ideal pad for the correction of weathered or scratched paint (swirls). The blue pad in combination with light polishes removes marring (superficial matte smudges) and wax scratches to finish with a high gloss.
