Sonax CC One
De Sonax CC One is the most simple and user-friendly long-term ceramic coating available! The CC One only consists of 1 coating of which you only have to apply 1 layer. As a result, you do not spend a long time coating your car. You can treat a full car in just 45 minutes!
The CC One is very easy to spread with the 4 sponge applicators supplied. Enough product and applicators are provided to treat 1 large SUV or 2 smaller cars. You can apply several layers of CC One to the paint, but this will not double the lifespan. When applying 1 layer provides Sonax a durability of 15 months. When applying 2 layers, we think we can achieve a realistic durability of 2 years if it is properly maintained! If you want to apply a second layer, we recommend allowing an hour and a half of drying time between the coatings.
To get the best performance and longest durability of the coating, it is important to give the paint a good pre-treatment. This by expanding the car Wash, iron particles en tar to remove, a clay to give treatment and best to leave the car too polishing† After that it is necessary to degrease the paint with a surface degreaser such as: Sonax Prepare.
When the car is prepared, open the product and apply 4-5 drops Sonax CC One to the white side of the application sponge. With this you can treat an area of approximately 50x50cm. It is important to apply the product thinly to the surface in horizontal and vertical overlapping strokes to ensure an even spread of the product. If the applicator sponge starts to harden, it is best to take a new applicator.
After about 5 minutes the coating is ready to wipe with a microfibre cloth† We recommend a thick microfibre cloth with no edges such as the Custom Car Care Gray Edgeless Towel† After wiping the coating with a microfiber cloth, we recommend that you take a new microfiber cloth and go over the area again and an additional 10 inches outside the area to make sure you have removed everything. Regularly take a new, clean microfibre cloth and throw away the old used microfibre cloths. The excess coating will harden in the microfibre cloth, creating small crystals that will damage the paint when using the microfibre cloth.
After applying the coating it is important to keep the car dry for the first 4 hours and not to use chemicals. Because this coating is so user-friendly and dries quickly, it is the perfect solution for someone with little experience and for people without a garage. You can apply this coating in a clean and dry place in the shade. Note that the warmer the climate, the faster the coating will dry when you apply it. As a result, the default drying time of 5 minutes may become only 2 minutes. If you find that the coating is more difficult to remove, you may need to wipe off the coating sooner.
The coating will harden even further after the first 4 hours, but it is already water resistant. However, to protect the coating in its first, most vulnerable hours, it is recommended that after 4 hours of drying time and before driving the car to quickly spray it with a ceramic spray such as the Sonax Ceramic Spray Coating. This will allow the spray coating to Sonax Protect CC One. We also recommend not washing the car for the first week.

- Remove iron particles with a iron remover.
- Remove tar stains with a tar remover.
- Clay the varnish.
- polish the paint to remove paint defects and get a flat surface.
- Make sure the entire car is clean and no more water is trapped between cracks and crevices.
- Clean the surface with a surface degreaser such as Sonax Prepare.
- Apply 4-5 drops Sonax CC One to the white side of the applicator.
- Apply the product to the paint in horizontal and vertical overlapping movements on an area of approximately 50x50cm.
- Let the product dry for about 5 minutes.
- Wipe off the excess with a thick, clean microfibre cloth preferably without borders like the Custom Car Care Gray Edgeless Towel.
- The excess coating is normally easy to remove, if it is difficult to remove, you have either used too much product or waited too long to remove it again. If you cannot remove the product without having to rub hard, you can apply 2 drops of CC One to the applicator and reapply and remove after 10 seconds. This allows you to remove the semi-cured coating.
- After removing the excess coating with a microfibre cloth, it is recommended to wipe the area and an additional 10cm beyond with a new, clean microfibre cloth to make sure you have removed all the product.
- Turn your microfibre cloths regularly and change them if necessary. Please also dispose of after use to avoid future damage from hardened coating in the microfibre cloth.
- Treat the entire paint like this. If you want to apply a second layer, we recommend waiting an hour and a half between the 2 layers.
- Then let the car dry for 4 hours. Avoid touch, water and chemicals.

OPTIONAL FOR MAXIMUM DURABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
- After 4 hours of drying and before you drive, spray some ceramic spray coating like the Sonax Ceramic Spray Coating on the paint to protect it in its most vulnerable period.
- Do not wash the car the first week.
